1. About MRN and these Terms
Last updated: October 19, 2026. The Medical Referral Network is operated by PB & The MRN LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company (MRN, we, our or us). These Terms cover our website, consumer referral requests and professional network. Where agreement is required, we request your acceptance. Our Privacy Policy describes information practices and choices; these Terms do not replace separate consent required by law.
2. Consumer referral services
MRN helps people seeking to buy, sell or rent connect with independent real estate professionals, and offers a professional membership network. Submitting a request does not create an agency, brokerage, lending, fiduciary or advisory relationship with MRN. MRN is not a real estate brokerage or lender. Real estate representation and mortgage services require separate arrangements with appropriately licensed providers.
3. Eligibility and accurate information
Our services are intended for adults age 18 or older in the United States. Provide accurate information and submit another person’s details only with authority. Professional members must maintain the licenses, brokerage approvals and qualifications applicable to their services and locations. Membership is subject to approval.
4. Consumer costs and professional subscriptions
MRN does not charge consumers to submit a referral request. Independent providers may charge commissions, closing costs, loan charges or other fees under their own agreements. Professional membership fees, renewal intervals and payment terms are disclosed with the selected plan. Manage cancellation through your account or contact themedicalreferralnetwork@gmail.com before renewal. Refunds are subject to the applicable plan terms and rights required by law. No fee or renewal change overrides required notice or consent.
5. Paid leads, sharing and compensation
MRN may share or sell the contact details and real estate preferences submitted in a referral request to one or more participating real estate professionals, brokerages or mortgage providers, subject to the notice and choices presented when information is collected and applicable law. MRN receives fixed professional membership fees and charges per lead. MRN does not receive a percentage of a transaction closing. Paid distribution may be a sale of personal information under privacy law. Compensation may create a financial incentive to introduce participating providers. You are free to choose another provider and are not obligated to purchase any service. A newsletter subscription alone does not authorize paid lead distribution.
6. Communications and your choices
MRN and recipients of an authorized referral may respond about your request by email, call or text, consistent with your choices and applicable law. Providing a telephone number is not blanket consent to automated or prerecorded marketing. Any consent required for marketing calls or texts must be obtained separately and must identify the authorized callers as required by law. Optional marketing consent is not a condition of purchase. Email unsubscribe instructions, text STOP where supported, or contact the sender to revoke consent; message/data rates may apply.
7. Independent providers and referral arrangements
Providers are independent and responsible for licensing, advice, agreements and services. Evaluate credentials, terms and suitability before engaging them. MRN does not guarantee a match, provider availability, loan approval, transaction result, referral volume or income. Referral compensation must comply with applicable real estate licensing, brokerage and mortgage settlement laws, including RESPA where applicable. Nothing in these Terms authorizes a prohibited fee, kickback, fee split or unlicensed activity.
8. Acceptable use
Do not submit false information, impersonate others, harass users, send unlawful marketing, bypass privacy choices, interfere with the site or scrape its data. Members may use received lead information only for the disclosed and authorized purpose, safeguard it, honor applicable deletion and contact requests, and may not resell or redistribute it without lawful authority. Member directory information may not be scraped, sold or used for unrelated marketing.
9. Privacy and confidential information
Review the Privacy Policy for collection, paid sharing, retention, privacy requests and opt-out choices. Do not submit medical records, Social Security numbers, bank account credentials or sensitive documents through general inquiry forms. Professional members must protect consumer and member information and comply with applicable privacy and communications laws. A policy update does not by itself authorize broader use of previously collected information.
10. Intellectual property
MRN and its licensors retain rights in site content, branding and materials. You may use the site for its intended purpose. Do not copy or exploit protected material without permission, except as permitted by law.
11. Access and termination
MRN may restrict access or suspend professional membership for unlawful use, material breach, nonpayment or conduct that threatens users or the service, subject to applicable law and agreed plan terms. Termination does not remove accrued payment duties, confidentiality obligations or consumer privacy rights.
12. Service limitations
The site and referral service are provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, MRN disclaims implied warranties and does not warrant uninterrupted service, accuracy of all third-party information or a particular outcome. Nothing excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Liability and member responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, MRN is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the site or independent provider services. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Professional members are responsible for claims arising from their unlawful conduct, misuse of data or material breach, to the extent provided by law and their applicable membership agreement.
14. Changes and other agreements
Updates will be posted with a revised date. Material changes and any required acceptance or consent will be handled as required by law. Professional membership is also subject to its Membership Agreement and the plan terms accepted at enrollment. Provider contracts govern the services supplied by those providers.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by North Carolina law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections and other rights applicable in your jurisdiction remain in effect.
